Castell Llwyd Energy Storage Facility is a battery energy storage project, set to store and release clean, renewable energy to the UK electricity grid. This project will contribute to the UK’s target of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels such as oil and gas.

The proposed development will cover an area of approximately 8ha, with the infrastructure and landscaped embankments covering an area of around 1ha.
